This course is worth one CEU credit hour and the basics of nutritional meal planning. This includes: guidelines for sound food intake, the categories of the food plate, number of servings and serving size.

Objectives

The objective of this course is to enable the caregiver to plan and assist the consumer in maintaining a nutritionally sound diet.
